Raw Milk for Kids

Raw milk gives kids the nutrition, protein, probiotics, and fat they need to thrive. You as a mom can be confident that they are getting a snack that is tasty and life giving when you serve them a cup of raw milk.

With that said, make the decision for yourself and what you feel comfortable with as a parent. I personally give my kids raw milk. It seems logical to me that if the milk is coming from a clean and reputable source, it is best to drink it just as God made it. It is literally designed to sustain a life on its own as a complete food.

If you have not made the switch to raw milk yet, then pray about it for your own family and make the choice that’s best for you.

How to Make the Best Chocolate Milk

Making the best chocolate milk can be quick and easy! Here are a few tips:

Chocolate Milk with Maple Syrup

Maple syrup is the perfect “secret ingredient” for your healthy homemade chocolate milk.

Using maple syrup lowers the sugar content of your chocolate milk. Since real maple syrup is extremely sweet, you really don’t need much sugar. Not only that but it adds a layer of flavor that is utterly addicting!

While this recipe calls for 1/4 cup or maple syrup and a 1/4 cup of brown sugar as the sweeteners, you can skip the brown sugar and use all maple syrup if you prefer! If you want the hidden flavor of maple syrup without breaking the bank, though, you can stick to using the brown sugar.

How to Make Chocolate Milk with Cocoa Powder

The easiest way to make homemade chocolate milk with cocoa powder is to pour hot water into a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup. Then, scoop your raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder) into the water and whisk it to combine.

The cocoa powder will easily melt into the hot water and totally combine. So, you do not need to pull out an entire blender to make chocolate milk.

Instead, simply mix all the ingredients into a little hot water and then whisk it to create a kind of quick chocolate “syrup” that you then pour directly into the raw milk.
